Are we all doing our spelling exercises?
Imagine learning, finally and forever, whether it is seperate or separate, parallell or parallel. Imagine learning, finally and forever, the spelling of one tricky word a day. Think how quickly that would add up.
It's a worthy project, and it is right up there on the list of Things That Make You Feel Good About Yourself (just below a thorough understanding of Orwell's rules of effective writing, and just above a comprehensive understanding of apostrophes).
So what are you waiting for? Look at the words below. They may or may not be spelled correctly. Write down these words the way you think they are spelled, then check the second list below the Chinese character for the correct spellings. If you don't get them all right the first time, return in a day or two and repeat the exercise until you do get them all right.
