Dear Mr Google, please explain

Just when I thought I was coming to terms with the slippery slope of AdSense methodology, I uncover evidence that everything I thought I knew may have to be discarded.

Here is what has happened.

Total AdSense earnings yesterday: US$0.01
Total AdSense clicks yesterday: 0

Has AdSense discovered a new form of mathematics? Or have I perhaps, in recognition of my 10 months of tenacious blogging, finally made it on to the bottom rung of some Frequent Writer Reward Scheme?

Dear Mr Google, your response is eagerly awaited.

I look at mine every day, Janet. It's my daily confusion dose. Seriously, I suggest you look at it every day while it still has the capacity to surprise you. Once your blog gets 100,000 readers a day, AdSense earnings will become boringly predictable

Chris, I think it might be some technical errors or bugs. I',m sure the Google adsense teams will get it fix as soon as possible (OMG, am I sound like the Google technical support here? lol)

That is a reallocation of funds. I was at $50.01 when I was declared EVIL. Google rounded down and did a random search of their NOT EVIL souls. It's your lucky day! I'm happy for you, but still pretty upset, so maybe test your Froot Loops on the dog before tucking in tomorrow... Hung for a penny, hung for a pound!

Hey, at least you're getting $0.01 for nothing. Ha. The new Ebay affiliated program never actually pays you what your reports say you've earned. Granted it's usually only off a few pennies, nickles, or dimes, that's change I didn't have before and have been reported to be owed.

I just created my blog, and Adsense defines this behavior in their Agreement plan.

Apparently some people will pay Google just to post their ads, when one of those ads pops up on your sight, you automatically get your cut of the commissions. Its not a mystery, just kinda funny that Google stands for that random of a deal.

Google makes most of its income from its AdWords advertising program. It's new and different, but it obviously works.
